Classification of respirators

With the spread of COVID-19 (Crona Virus Disease 2019), face mask is a important tool for epidemic prevention. Currently there are many types of masks on the market, we can distinguish them according to the following information.


Classified by shape:

1. Flat face mask, easy to carry, but poor tightness.

2. Foldable face mask, easy to carry.

3. Cup-shaped face maks, large breathing space, but not easy to carry.

 

Classfied by wearing method:

1. Head-mounted mask: suitable for workshop workers in long time,  but troublesome to wear.

2. On-ear mask: easy to wear, suitable for frequent wear and take off.

3. Neak-wear mask: Using S hook and soft material connectors instead of ear wear, more convenient for workshop workers such as wearing hard hats or protective suit.


Classfied by material

1. Gauze mask, low standard requirement, only can protect large particles of dust.

2. Non woven mask, most disposable mask is non woven material, physical filtration supplemented by electrostatic adsorption.

3. Fabric mask, only with keep warm effect, without effect of filtering of very small particles such as PM.

4. Paper mask, good air permeability and comfortable to use.

5. Other material mas, such as new bioprotective filtration material etc.

1. 90 level, filter rate≥90%

2. 95 level, filter rate≥95%

3. 100 level, filter rate≥99.97%
